- BENEFIT CONCERT (UNCA Quad, from Sep 24, 2011 02:30 PM to Sep 24, 2011 11:00 PM)
- Concert will feature 7 - 8 bands performing interspersed with small acts and an ongoing Silent Auction. Proceeds will benefit the Student Renewalable Energy Conference (SSREC) and the Mt. Protectors Campaign.

- The Second Annual International Day of Peace celebration will be on Wed. Sept. 21 from 4:30 to 7:30 PM at Pack Square. Mike Ferner, Executive Director of Veterans for Peace National Office will speak. Entertainment includes Billy Jonas, Thomas Rain Crowe, and Greg Olson.

- Film, " Peace One Day" shows the real-life results of Peace Day 21 September around the world, including life-saving initiatives by leading humanitarian organizations. The film was used to encourage the members of the United Nations General Assembly to adopt the 21st of September as the day of global ceasefire and nonviolence, and includes footage of Kofi Annan, the Dalai Lama, Dame Judi Dench, Helen Mirren & Alan Rickman. No admission charge.
