August Meeting
Our August 19th meeting will feature planning our Southern Energy & Environmental EXPO exhibit. Volunteers are needed!
The WNCPSR Meeting on August 19th will feature final planning our Southern Energy & Environmental EXPO exhibit in coordination with Common Sense at the Nuclear Crossroads and Nuclear Information and Resource Services. It will promote: global survival via eliminating nuclear weapons and minimizing global climate change through conservation, and renewable energy, rather than new fossil fueled or nuclear powered plants. We begin our meeting with a noontime gathering (We encourage you to bring your own brown bag lunch) in classroom 4 downstairs in the Unitarian Universalist Church of Asheville (enter northwest corner by following signs); program to go from 12:30 till 2:00.
