The National Office of Physicians for Social Responsibility in Washington DC. is the coordinating center for all US chapters and their 25000 members. It organizes national symposia for all members, board meetings and telephone conferences. The office and its full time staff develop and publish informative papers and brochures on nuclear weapons, the environment and gun violence. Executive directors, program leaders and elected officers of PSR periodically come to Asheville to provide information and to support our peacemaking efforts and the recruitment of new members. Go to www.psr.org. The opportunity and benefits of becoming a member of National PSR are outlined there.
