Friday August 7, noon: Tune into the State of Things radio show—in Asheville go to Blue Ridge Public Radio (FM 88.1) to hear an interview with friend of WNC PSR, author, and speaker Kathleen Burkinshaw. Kathleen’s mother survived the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, and never told her daughter, until her granddaughter was learning about how our military destroyed two cities in Japan at the end of WWII. You can also listen on-line here:   https://www.wunc.org/programs/state-things and learn more about Kathleen here: http://kathleenburkinshaw.com/
