In a special message to the June 7 Annual Meeting of the Arms Control Association, United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres warned that:

“Humanity is on a knife's edge, the risk of a nuclear weapon being used has reached heights not seen since the Cold War.”

It is hard to know how to help diminish the threat of nuclear weapons which threaten human existence.
