Project: Letter Urging President Biden to Send representatives to 2nd Meeting of States Parties (2MSP) to the TPNW [November, NYC] Project is to obtain endorsing signatures from local and state elected officials for the President to send an observer delegation and initiate negotiations with all nuclear weapons states to pursue a verifiable, time-bound agreement to eliminate nuclear weapons from the planet

Thursday 9/21/23, 5:30 PM, Walk for Peace. Gather at the corner of Haywood Rd and Louisana Ave, West Asheville, to publically demonstrate our commitment to the ongoing work for a just, peaceful and nonviolent world
- Saturday, 9 23/23. 2:00-4:00 PM Gather at Land of the Sky United Church of Christ, 15 Overbrook Place, Asheville, for announcements of the 2023 Peacemakers of the Year and Peace Honorees, as well as celebrating the efforts of promoting peace and nonviolence locally and around the world.
